Beeswax wraps set of 3, LARGE Re usable, eco friendly, biodegradable, non toxic, zero waste
Live a greener life by ditching the plastic, these eco friendly beeswax wraps work with just the heat of your hands to seal the wrap around a container top, hunk of cheese, sandwich, piece of fruit or veg or anything you would usually wrap in tin foil or cling film,
these are made with locally sourced beeswax and top grade extra virgin olive oil, we've opted for olive oil as an alternative to jojoba, and pine resins, as both are not commonly used in the food industry ( usually used in cosmetics and coatings) the oil helps keep the wrap pliable and aids the sticking process.
Beeswax has natural anti-bacterial properties, which will help to keep your food fresh longer as does olive oil.
each pack contains 3 square wraps made from 100% cotton fabric,
sizes are approximate but never less than 32 X 32 cm you will get 3 large wraps in this pack.
we have grouped them together in toning coordinating colors and given them names , purely so we know which ones we have in stock, and to give you the option of choosing the right colours for your home
every pack will be different you can cut them to size if you find them too big, each wrap should last over 6 months and up to a year, then simply throw in the compost to rot down.
They are not to be used with raw fish or meat, (cooked meat and fish is fine) do not place in the washing machine or dishwasher and they are not to be used in the microwave,
To store : Keep out of direct sunlight Keep away from heat Store in a dark and COOL place between use.
To clean: Using a damp cloth or sponge with a little cool water and mild detergent , simply gently wipe your wrap down and leave to dry.
Note: There may be a naturally occuring slight beeswax aroma which will disappear after a few uses. There will be naturally ocurring creases in the wraps as you use them , this is perfectly normal. After time you may feel the need to refresh your wraps - this can be done by placing a wrap flat on to a baking tray and popping into the oven at 90 degrees for approx 4-5 minutes. or ironing between 2 sheets of grease-proof paper with a hot iron
