Girls zingy batik summer dress, age 6-7, 24 inch chest 100% cotton
Zingy colours, vibrant greens, turquoises and blues.. I love this fabric its so bright and summery this dress made in this batik style fabric would be perfect for a day by the sea, super for an outdoor party great for church on Sunday, lovely for tea with the Queen in fact it could be worn for any occasion, the bodice is line with a soft yellow cotton echoing some of the yellows hinted at within the floral patterning on the dress, I've added a button detail to the front pulling on those subtle colours within the fabric.
The seams are all over locked or hidden and top stitched where needed, it measures 65cm/ 25.5 inches from nape to hem will fit roughly a 6 -7 year old, chest measurement is 61 cm or 24 inches 2 odd coloured buttons are sewn firmly to the back of the garment,
this dress is perfect for play days everyday wear, holidays parties and a morning in church, team it with a green, blue or turquoise cardigan for cooler days, come autumn time add a tee shirt under it and make it last that little bit longer,
